Some sites have been successful, while others have not. It can be hard to choose the right dating site among the many available. We can’t tell which one you should choose, but we can give you some insight into which one may be better.

First Impressions
Spdate offers both a website as well as an app. Both look professional. It has a very simple layout and a black-and-white theme. It is advertised as a hookup website, similar to Tinder and has many of the same features.
These sites usually display a lot of sample profiles pictures on their homepage to give you an idea of the type of people they have. Spdate does not have this, which I considered a positive. Personally, I find this a red flag as sites like these are often loaded with scammers or fake profiles. So it gave me some hope.
Registering on the site is easy and free of charge. There are many ways to do this. Spdate allows you to sign up via email, Facebook or Google. This saves time.
Features
Right away, I got crazy Tinder deja vu. Spdate.com has a lot of Tinder-like content, but with a different color scheme. It’s not a problem, is it? Tinder was successful because of that reason so it makes sense for other sites to copy it as closely as they can.
After you have registered and verified your age, you can create your profile. You only need to fill in your bio and upload a maximum of 10 photos before you can get started.
You’ll first hit the Discovery Tab. This is where you can define the parameters of the people you wish to meet. You can set your age range, gender, distance, and location. After you are done, you will be given your matches so you can start swiping. This is the part that I found most frustrating.
Many of the profiles I matched with seemed too good to be true. They were beautiful, had great profile photos, and had very generic bios. They seemed to have very little personality. After a few minutes I was able to confirm that many of these profiles were not of real girls. Another sign was the fact that I matched with 90%.
Although it was disappointing, there were still many real women in there. You can chat with the person you have matched, but only a few of their photos can be viewed. Upgrade your membership to view their entire gallery. Voice chat is not available for free and is limited to text only. Premium users can also use voice chat, but the quality is not the best. It does not offer video suppot.
The constant stream of third-party ads is perhaps the worst. Each time I clicked on something, I was taken to a porn website, escort site, or other adult-oriented page. It was extremely frustrating.
Membership
Premium upgrade Spdate.com begins at $39.99 per Month and increases to $49.99 for three-months. The premium membership offers very limited additional. It only allows unlimited gallery browsing. The site offers almost everything for free, so it’s not worth paying the high price.
Pros
Spdate seemed to have a lot of things going for it at first. After spending an hour with the Spdate app I realized that there is very little to no use. There are two positives that I could find, but they are both effectively ineffective in the grand scheme of things.
First, you can register. It takes about a minute. It is also free to use messaging, but this has no value as it does not allow fake users to message. It claims that the site has been active for several years. This makes it even more suspect.
Cons
How do you start? The front page contains a lot of lies and embellishment. Spdate.com claims that it has 500,000 active users at once, but given the speed with which I ran out, this is almost certainly bullcrap. Spdate.com claims 75% of its users are males if you dig deeper. You can see how hard it is to hookup on genuine dating sites that are typically 55% males.
My phone crashed multiple times due to heavy third-party addon use. It was annoying to see pop-ups advertising REAL WOMENS NEAR YOU constantly on my phone. I eventually deleted my account.
Spdate Terms of Service state that Spdate ‘uses staff members’ to boost its numbers. You may also be contacted by a “staff account” offering regular upgrades. Four messages were sent to me right before I deleted the account. They all tried to sell me different products. It was, to put it mildly, annoying.
As if this weren’t enough, Spdate has no search function. However, fairness be told, searching is useless if there are no real people.
Chat is completely free but mostly it’s populated with fake women who send you fake nudes. They will send you more photos or just disappear if you try to talk to them. My chat log is filled with selfies, but no substance.
Conclusion
Our final Spdate review conclusion? Don’t use Spdate. It is useless. None. This is possibly the most terrible dating site I have ever seen. It doesn’t have any content, activity, or users. There is no online support.
Your inbox will be filled with hundreds of Spdate.com messages. However, they will come from adult sites that want to sell you sex you won’t use. If you’re looking for easy and free sex, there are many other dating sites. Spdate is not the only dating site that’s better than others.
